  • Is there a minimum booking?
    Yes there is a minimum booking of 6 persons.
  • How much does private catering cost?
    The minim spend per person starts from 89.99PP( per person), this is just a guidance and all depends on what type of service and specific dishes that you have chosen.
  • How do I choose my dishes?
    All of the menus are customised, how ever you can choose from the sample dishes, once you booked your event date, you can discuss with the chef.
  • When do I pay for my booking?
    Once we finalised all details with the chef, you will have to pay 50% of the total booking which is not refundable. The balance have to be paid 7 days before the even date. You have to pay the total amount of the balance if you book your event with less than 7 days notice.
  • When do I need to book the event?
    We recommend to book your event as early as possible, ideally with a minimum 2 weeks notice in order to be able to secure your date for you.
  • Do I need to pay for deposit?
    Yes, there is a deposit of £50 to secure your booking. Once the booking is secure, we can discuss further about your menu and service afterwards.
  • How far in advance can I book my event?
    You can book your even as far as 12 month in advance. But we don't recommend for you to book too far ahead, most of our customers book their event 2-3 month in advance. We also don't recommend you booking last minutes, 2 weeks notice is recommended for a successful booking.
  • What is Considered a Last Minute Booking?
    Booking enquiry made anthing with less than 2 weeks notices are considered last minute booking.
  • What are Last Minute Booking Payment Policies?
    We accept 50% of total booking deposit before after we agree on menu/ service, deposits is not refundable, the other 50% need to be paid a day before the service. If for any reason clients need to cancel the event, refund is not accepted but rebooking is accepted with 20% extra on top of total even cost to cover chef time and some of the ingredient wastage. We can only accept bank transfers for last minute booking.
  • Can I get my money back if the chef cancel the booking?
    If the chef cancel the booking due to emergency, you will get 100% of your money that you have paid back or you can rebook your event with a different date with a 5% discount for the inconvenience it has caused by the cancellation.
  • What is your cancellation and refund policy?
    Deposit is 100% refundable if cancelled within 24 hours of booking. ​We recommend event to be rebooked but not cancelled, if you decided to cancel your event with more than 7 days notice, we will be able to refund 50% of your event booking fee. If canceled with less than 7 days notice, we can't refund any of the event money, but we can rebook your event with a 20% extra of the total event cost, this is due to chef's time, ingredient costs etc.
  • Does chef bring their own cooking equipment?
    No chef is not required to take any cooking equipment. The host is suppose to have all necessary cooking equipment on site. But chef can decided to bring some of their special equipment with them.
  • Do I have to prepare all tableware and crockeries?
    Yes, the host need to have enough tableware and crockeries in order to allow the chef to plate dishes more efficiently.
  • Will the chef clear up after the event?
    Yes, chef will be cleaning up the Kitchen, help loading the dish washer when necessary but chef is not expected to wait up once service is finished. If party size is over 10 people, chef is not suppose to do table service, chef will being helper/s, there will be extra charges for bigger parties to pay the helper/s.
  • Is there a maximum number of people you can cater for?
    The answer is no. However the menus are designed for a more intimate dining experience, best for a smaller group of people. For a larger event of more than 12 people, we will customise the menu base on the even. There will be extra costs as the chef will need to hire extra professional help for the day, and extra for equipment/cockery hire as well.
  • Can chef cook anything I wanted?
    Not necessaries, chef will take your suggestions into concern, but it will be down to the chef to put together a menu ultimately for you to decide whether you are happy or not, job won't go ahead until you are 100% happy with the menu.
  • How much does private cooking lesson cost?
    Private cooking lesson starts from £49.99 per person per hour, minimum booking is 6 person, and minimum booking is 2 hours.
  • What kind of cooking lessons do you offer?
    All cooking lessons at the moment are on case by case basis, you can choose what you want to learn in the cooking lesson, normally it is one to two dishes depending on budget and time. So the best thing to do is to discuss with the chef.
  • What payment method do you accept?
    You can pay by debit or credit card, I will be able to send you invoice with a payment link for this once the menu and costs are finalised. We also accept bank transfer.
